I have two main passions in life:

1. The art of photography
2. The beauty of people.

I found photography when I was 17. I learned to love the beauty of a secret language that lies within images. The power that a single image can hold an entire ocean of feelings.

When I have a camera in my hand, something in me just feels right, I can’t really explain it, but it’s there, it feels like home.

Since a young age I’ve also found the endless beauty in people. There is a certain wonder to everyone. To find honest and true connections with people fills me with so much joy. I’ve always adored making friends, making people happy and taking the time to understand every element of their personality.

Connection is everything to me, It’s one of the most important aspects to my whole photography ethic. It’s the way I believe, is honest and natural to you. To make you feel at one with photography, to be comfortable and know, that what we create together is true as what you feel in your heart.

I’m grateful that I have these two passions in my heart. I’m grateful because they complement one another and when together, they are the sole creation for something so beautiful.

I’m kirsty

Like my good pal Sadie, I am super passionate about photography, and take my inspiration form various people I meet and places i’ve been.

Joining the SOP team has been wonderful, I first met Sadie way back in 2010 when we worked together in a little camera shop, it soon became obvious that we shared the same passion and love for photography.

I LOVE meeting new people, learning about all the different stories makes my creative mind buzz. Creating a connection with people is so important to me, I want to tell your story in the most natural and honest way.

I have a organic and relaxed style of photography. I really believe in seeking out all the different emotions that lie within a wedding, so you look back at every moment and feel the way you felt.

I love that photography can be a beautiful way to create a visual story that reflects your day. Im totally in love with what I do, I feel it’s my purpose to make people happy with what I love to do.

Sadie Osborne Photography became a team of two individual photographers in 2018. Sadie reached out to Kirsty to join the team & started training her in the ‘SOP’ Ways.

Sadie knew that she always wanted to find someone who not just shared a similar photography style… but someone who cared deeply for every aspect of the photography experience and would give their heart and soul into their passion.

The best part about having a team of two photographers is not just the fact there is two to choose from… But the friendship that Sadie and Kirsty share is invaluable

Sadie is the proud owner of these two doggo’s. Penny the Pug and Marley the Chug. They are normally hanging out with us in the office waiting for a snack or creepin’ on our social media’s.

We think dogs are awesome, so if you have a dog we hope we meet them on your shoot or at your wedding!
