Kids will be kids
Sadie is always telling me that I have such a way of capturing kids at weddings. Perhaps it’s because I’m a mother to 3 young children myself that I’m naturally drawn to kids or maybe they’re drawn to me? Either way it seems to work. These two Weddings were taken last year at two awesome wedding venues, the first one was taken at Weddings in the woods in the New Forest and the second at Marshwood Manor
I find the best way to capture kids at weddings is to spend a bit of time with them, chatting or playing to build their trust which is super important then they won’t shy away, in fact after a while alot of children seek me out because they want their photos taken. It’s always refreshing how many kids are genuinely interested in photography too so I love being able to answer their questions and they get to see me in action too which always fills me with hope that it’ll spark a new passion with the younger generation.
